A dog-friendly glamping site in the Dordogne 🐾
At Gaia Ecolodge, dogs aren’t just accepted: they are genuinely welcome.
Our estate holds the Qualidog 3 Truffes label, and we have planned a few little touches to make their stay – and their humans’ – as easy as possible.
A Doggy Bar is available for them and, in our rental accommodation, we provide two bowls and a cushion for their comfort.
Dogs are welcome on our pitches as well as in our accommodation, in line with the site rules.

Bread service & small grocery shop at Gaia Ecolodge
Bread and pastries: a little morning treat
Order your bread and pastries the day before and collect them from reception the next morning. Enjoy them at your leisure on the terrace of your accommodation, on your pitch or overlooking the pond.
A small grocery shop for the essentials… and a few treats
Our small grocery shop offers a few everyday essentials as well as a selection of local produce so you can discover the flavours of the Dordogne.
You will also find souvenirs and postcards to take home a little piece of your holiday at Gaia.
The snack bar: a tasty break overlooking the pond
With its terrace opening onto the pond, the snack bar is one of the social hubs of Gaia Ecolodge.
It’s the place to meet up for a drink, share a platter, enjoy a relaxed dinner or simply take in the view at the end of the day.
Our menu focuses on simple, convivial food: pizzas, sharing platters, duck confit, salad, cocktails and other seasonal treats.
Inside, you will also find the library, board games, the pool table and table football.

Fishing on the banks of our 3-hectare pond
Fishing is an integral part of the Gaia Ecolodge experience. Our 3-hectare private pond lets guests staying on the estate fish free of charge, with no fishing licence, in a calm and natural environment.
Fishing is strictly no-kill, and the pond is home mainly to carp, as well as a few roach and black bass. Night fishing is also permitted on the part of the pond away from the accommodation.
Whether you are a keen angler or simply tempted by a few hours by the water, there’s no need to take the car here: your fishing spot is right in the heart of the estate.
