At Gaia Ecolodge, guests enjoy a 3-hectare private pond where they can fish free of charge, with no licence required, following No Kill rules.
Covering 3 hectares, our private pond offers an exceptional setting for a fishing campsite holiday between Bergerac and Périgueux.
The pond is home mainly to common carp, koi carp and grass carp, as well as a few roach and black bass.
Fishing is allowed from the banks, except in front of the chalets, which are reserved for their occupants. Night fishing is also permitted on the part of the pond away from the accommodation, provided other guests’ peace and quiet is respected.

Swimming caps are not compulsory, but tight-fitting swimming trunks (briefs) are.
Do you have pitches for tents, vans and caravans?
Yes. We offer several types of pitches:
Nature,
Comfort (table, barbecue…)
Premium with pond view (with fridge, pergola, barbecue…),
VIP facing the pond (with private bathroom facilities).
Our pitches are spacious (100 to 200 m²), clearly marked out and set in a calm, green environment.
Can we fish in the pond?
Yes, No Kill fishing is allowed in our 3-hectare pond.
Carp, roach, pike and black bass are waiting for you!
An unhooking mat and barbless hooks are compulsory to protect the welfare of the fish.
No fishing licence is needed, as the pond is private.
Is there Wi-Fi on site?
Yes, an excellent Wi-Fi connection is available throughout the campsite so you can stay connected if you wish… while still enjoying the peace and quiet of nature.
